I do not remember love’s first kiss
the sweetened nectar of a lovers lips
the sudden echos of a fallen abyss
likened between the seas of a captain’s ship.
I do not remember love’s first kiss
the drunken tales through the eyes of innocence
the action taken in a partial dismiss
characterized by the acts of ones will of benevolence
I do not remember love’s first kiss
the touch desired from an impeding dominant
the mercy of souls aligned with some joyful bliss
sealed by the author of creation in certainty of the covenant.
I do not remember love’s first kiss
the hopes of a union sealed in true testament
the burn of the sacrifice not far to miss
yearns the beginning of a courtship without measurement.
I do not remember love’s first kiss
the delicate nature signed the Holy sacrament
the glorified spirit bound not to resist
pleased by the divine to reconcile the atonement.
“And Judas betrayed Him with a kiss…”
